Byron Theurer, Aerospace Engineer and Business Owner, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in consulting and engineering.
Mr. Theurer excels in his industry after more than four decades of dedicated service. Early in his career, he spent time as a project officer at the Space Shuttle Development Program n Houston, Texas. He moved into a Chief of Test position at the F-15 Systems Progressive Office at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base and then to a senior engineer position at Veda, Inc. In the 1980s, Mr. Theurer spent his time as a project manager with Support Systems Associates, Inc. and CTA Inc. In the 1990s, he came on as the owner of TPR Education IP Holdings, LLC, and remained in this position from 1993 to 2001. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Theurer brought his skills to SCORE Association as a counselor.
To prepare for a career in engineering, Mr. Theurer attended the US Air Force Academy and earned a BS in engineering science in 1961. He picked up his education at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving an MS in aeronautical science in 1965. In 1991, he received an MBA from the University of Redlands. In addition to his education, Mr. Theurer credits his military service with a lot of his growth and development. In 1961, he enrolled as a commissioned officer and in 1978 became a Lieutenant Colonel with the US Air Force. He has received various awards and accolades for his service, including the Distinguished Flying Cross and 16 other air medals. He was named Officer of the Year at Edwards Air Force Base in 1970 and is the recipient of a Decorated Silver Star.
