Leslie P. Antalffy, Executive Director of Process Technology and Engineering at Fluor Enterprises, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Engineering.

Mr. Antalffy arrived in the U.S. in 1973 as a senior vessel engineer with Fluor Enterprises, and has worked with the company to attain the title of senior mechanical engineering director, as well as senior fellow and executive director of process technology and engineering. He is proud of the 12 U.S. patents he has developed in delayed coking, a method of extracting additional fuel from the processes of petrochemical processing.

Born in Budapest, Hungary to Vilmos Leslie and Margo Antalffy, Mr. Antalffy studied mechanical engineering with the University of Adelaide in Australia, and worked as a vessel engineer through the mid-‘70s. He was a senior vessel engineer with Lummus Co. in Canada when he accepted a similar position with Fluor Daniel in Houston, now the Fluor Corporation. Mr. Antalffy rose to principal engineer in two years, earned an MBA from Sam Houston State University in 1980, and has since been a vital part of the Fluor Corporation. He is a frequent presenter at international conferences and featured author in industry publications.

Mr. Antalffy is a recognized life fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and is a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and the Marquis Who’s Who Humanitarian Award. He has been featured in the pages of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in the World. He is also the proud father of Julie, Michael, and Nicole with his wife, Barbara Ann Clark.
