First exploring the field of editing and acting as a literary agent for a period of time, he moved forward with his own art and published a number of books, including “Janus Incubus,” “On Writing Fiction,” and “Washed Up: The Succubus Sea.”
Jackson has held a Doctor of Philosophy since 1999, and he plans on pursuing a second PhD to branch into teaching as a professor. A leading voice in the field of engineering, he maintains affiliation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Institute of Science and Technology. He was awarded a fellowship with the Royal Society of Arts in 2006. Jackson is a Senior Member of the Association of Computing Machinery and a member of the Institute of Science & Technology (UK).
