O.C. Ninan, Retired Engineering Manager, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in electrical manufacturing.
From a young age, Mr. Ninan had an affinity for mechanical processes, as well as science and mathematics. Influenced by his father who was a civil engineer, Mr. Ninan decided to enter the field of mechanical engineering due to his penchant for dissecting mechanical parts as opposed to biological creatures.
A native of India, Mr. Ninan prepared for his career by first pursuing a formal education, completing coursework at the Bishop Cotton Boys’ School in 1962. He went on to complete further coursework at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) in Varanasi, India, in 1967. Immigrating to the United States in 1970, he rose through the ranks of success until his transition to the role of engineering manager, retiring from the position in 2007.
Mr. Ninan attributes his success to his parents, who provided him with an excellent education and established strong foundations upon which he could build his future. In addition, he credits his many mentors he has met throughout the years, attributing his breadth of knowledge to their influence. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and bowling.
