Stanislav Nespurek, Ph.D., Research Scientist and Professor at the University of West Bohemia, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in electrical engineering and higher education.
A celebrated figure in the fields of engineering and education, Dr. Nespurek has amassed nearly 50 years of professional excellence in his areas of expertise. Since 2009, he has served as a professor in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of West Bohemia in the Czech Republic, where he formerly conducted research into organic semiconductors and polymers. Prior to his current position, he was a professor at the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry for 39 years.
A contributor of more than 350 scientific publications to esteemed journals in his field, Dr. Nespurek pursued a formal education at the inception of his career, earning a Master of Science from Masaryk University in 1962 and Doctor of Philosophy from Charles University in 1969. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to engineering, he has been named a fellow of several facilities and organizations, including the Brno University of Technology, World Scientific Publishing, and the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Alongside his role as a fellow, Dr. Nespurek has also been honored as Man of the Year by the American Biographical Institute and named among Great Men and Women of Science by the International Biographical Center. Notably, he earned a Decree of Merit as one of 2,000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century by the International Biographical Center in 2017 and was highlighted in the 33rd edition of Who’s Who in the World. Dr. Nespurek was further presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.
