With 15 years of professional experience, Dr. Subramanian has been a machine learning researcher with GE Global Research since 2015. Prior to obtaining his current position, he was an associate research senior scientist with Andro Computational Solutions, LLC in 2015. From 2006 to 2014, he was a graduate research assistant at Syracuse University, having been a graduate researcher since 2005. Earlier in his career, Dr. Subramanian was a research associate with the Indian Insisted of Technology from 2003 to 2004.
Dr. Subramanian began his career as a student at Bhavnagar University, obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics and communications engineering in 2003. He subsequently served as an undergraduate intern with the Indian Institute of Technology in 2003 before relocating to the United States. After gaining hands-on experience in the field, he returned to his studies at Syracuse University earning a PhD in electrical and computer engineering in 2014 and holding a postdoctoral internship with the school in 2015. Dr. Subramanian is currently pursuing a Master of Science in electrical engineering.
