In her role today with Arthrex, Ms. Torrens De Jesus is responsible for supporting a development group of Germany-based engineers. She manages their concept development projects and makes sure that they are addressing project risks, while also ensuring deadlines are adhered to in partnership with cross-functional teams of engineers, managers and leaders. In recognition of her professional excellence, Ms. Torrens De Jesus has been the recipient of a Distinguished Employee Award by Medtronic, as well as a Lifesaver Award given by ACN USPS for her outstanding commitment to results and quality.
Ms. Torrens De Jesus’ career is supported by her education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Polytechnic University in Puerto Rico, which she earned in 2011. She returned to the university years later and achieved a master’s degree in engineering management in 2015. As she looks to the future, Ms. Torrens De Jesus intends to continue to grow her professional skill set while looking for new opportunities in her career to succeed.
