A registered professional engineer in the state of Washington, Mrs. Stanley celebrates an illustrious career that has spanned six decades. Today, she is a group manager for Kaiser Engineers, where she has met with success since joining the team in 1982. Mrs. Stanley separates herself from others in her field by demonstrating her well-rounded skillset and showcasing her outgoing personality which allows her to build relationships within her field. Previously, she has made an impact in prominent roles including engineer for A.D. Stanley & Associates, city engineer for the City of Pasco, engineer for Rader & Associates, and engineer designer for the Alabama Highway Department. Mrs. Stanley is notably recognized in her industry as the first female city engineer in the state of Washington.
Mrs. Stanley became involved in her profession as inspired by her father, who was also an engineer. Her interest in how things worked was sparked from a young age; plus, she demonstrated a strong interest in mathematics and puzzles that made her career path one that aligned synergistically with her natural inclinations. To prepare for her career, she earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. She remained at the top of her field through her memberships with the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Washington Society of Professional Engineers, for which she served as secretary and vice president. Mrs. Stanley is regarded by industry experts as someone that earned every accomplishment she received – nothing was just handed to her. As she looks to the future, Mrs. Stanley intends to continue working toward excellence and success in her field.
