Robert Meyer, Owner of R.E. Meyer & Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medical devices manufacturing.
Since 1995, Mr. Meyer has utilized his impressive professional history as the owner of his firm. Providing clients with the utmost top-quality care and service, he has garnered this experience previously as the vice president of quality assurance and regulatory affairs for Cascade Medical Inc. and as the director of quality assurance and regulatory affairs at Garid, Inc. His early positions also support his unparalleled work ethic. Between 1964 and 1986, Mr. Meyer served in such roles as the director of quality assurance of Dahlberg, Inc., as the manager of quality assurance of Maico, Inc., as a program manager of Control Data Corp., as a configuration manager and program manager of the defense system division of Univac.
Mr. Meyer credits his education as solid support of his later career success. He earned a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota in 1954. With these credentials, he became a registered professional engineer in the state of Minnesota. In addition to his work at a number of companies, Mr. Meyer’s expertise has been called upon in a consulting role with Bayer & MacElrath and as a president of the Institute for Basic Church Management. Furthermore, he has been invited to present and speak within the field. He considers having the opportunity to speak at a workshop with people he taught as one of his career highlights.
Throughout his career, Mr. Meyer has supplemented his professional development with memberships to a variety of organizations. He has been involved with the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society for Quality Control. Within these organizations, he has served in leadership roles including as chairman and head council and on the board of directors. Also involved in civics and his community, Mr. Meyer has supported the St. Cloud State University and the Minnesota Council for Quality. Furthermore, he served in the US Army from 1947 to 1949.
