Jagannadham “JAG” Kottha, President of the Crestbest Quality Institute, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in engineering and management consulting.
With more than 50 years of professional experience, Mr. Kottha has been the president of the Crestbest Quality Institute since 2003, having been the owner of the firm since 1995. In addition to his primary roles, he has been the chief executive officer and lead auditor at GMS Registrar since 2003. Prior to obtaining these positions, he was the president of General Systems, Inc., from 1978 to 1988 and vice president of engineering at Environmental Control of Life Systems from 1976 to 1977. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kottha was the research and development engineer for the Electronics Corporation of India, Ltd., from 1968 to 1970 and the owner of BPX Technologies.
Mr. Kottha first pursued an education with Osmania University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1967. He then relocated to the United States, where he completed a Master of Science in biomedical engineering in 1976. He continued his studies with Baldwin Wallace College, earning a Master of Business in 1978. He is a member of the American Society of Quality, the Project Management Institute and the SMMI Institute.
