Upon meeting a professional welding engineer in his formative years, Mr. Feil was encouraged to pursue the profession to due his impressive wit and strong work ethic. He went on to attend the Ohio State University, where he achieved a Bachelor of Arts in welding engineering in 1972 and a Master of Arts in welding engineering in 1974. Subsequently, Mr. Feil became a registered professional engineer and now specializes in welding, materials joining, and non-destructive testing in his professional duties. Since 2019, he has notably served as a welding engineer and NDT level III at Loc Performance Products, Inc. in Plymouth, Michigan. Offering defense and commercial manufacturing services, Loc Performance Products, Inc. has consistently invested in the most advanced production technologies and equipment in order to maximize precision and maintain the highest levels of quality control, further driving project performance, for the past 40 years.
Throughout the course of his illustrious career, Mr. Feil recalls his most distinguishable achievement to have been his contributions to rebuilding steam generators at a nuclear station in Canada. He attributes his success simply to diligence and determination. To remain aware of advancements and changes in his field, Mr. Feil maintains affiliation with the American Welding Society and American Society for Nondestructive Testing. Civically, he is a volunteer with the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, of which he was a former major in U.S. Air Patrol. Looking ahead in his career trajectory, Mr. Feil hopes for further career progression as he thoroughly enjoys his work as a technical specialist and envisions himself in a management position.
