Randolph Joseph Saucier, Petroleum Engineering Consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in engineering consulting.
Backed by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, Mr. Saucier went on to earn a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University in 1964. Shortly thereafter, he became certified as a registered engineer in the state of Texas. Mr. Saucier commenced his career as a production and research engineer at Shell Development Company, remaining there until 1977. That year, he was hired as a production engineer at Shell Oil Company. By 1991, Mr. Saucier had relocated to Mandeville, Louisiana, where he excelled as a petroleum engineering consultant. Today, he continues to excel in this role, though he has since moved his services to Greenwell Springs, Louisiana.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Saucier has shared his field insights by contributing a multitude of articles to professional journals. Likewise, he is a patentee in his field, as he developed novel techniques for formation control and perforation testing. An active member of his industry, Mr. Saucier maintains affiliation with the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Pi Tau Sigma and Tau Beta Pi. As a testament to his professional success and legacy, Mr. Saucier is also featured in the 23rd edition of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
