Khanh Q. Dang, Senior Structural Analyst and Aerospace Engineer at Integration Innovation Inc., i3, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievement, and leadership in engineering.
Growing up, Mr. Dang excelled in mathematics. In his home country of Vietnam, he was one of four best mathematics students from the Ben Tre province to participate in national mathematics competitions. In 1979, he came to the United States and enrolled at the University of Bridgeport. There, he earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering before acquiring a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University. From there, Mr. Dang proceeded to further his education with multiple additional Master’s degrees. Today, he holds a Master’s in aerospace engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s in mathematics from the University of Alabama.
Mr. Dang commenced his career as a contractual engineer with United Technologies in 1984. In the following years, he gained experience with Teledyne Brown Engineering, NASA Glenn, Raytheon Missile Systems, and Tec-Masters. Most notably, from 2001 until 2019, Mr. Dang served as an aerospace engineer with the United States Army. Currently, he works as a senior structural analyst engineer at i3. With 36 years of experience, he has deep knowledge in many areas of mechanical and aerospace engineering as well as applied mathematics.
Outside of his primary ventures, he is a frequent donor to lunch programs at underprivileged schools. Throughout his remarkable career, Mr. Dang has received numerous awards from NASA, Raytheon Missile Systems, and the United States Army for a myriad of accomplishments. Looking toward the future, he hopes to share his knowledge with the next generation of engineers while continuing to make a positive difference in the world.
