Drawing upon more than 35 years of professional experience in engineering, Mr. Gudin retired in 2005 as a senior engineer for Patrick Engineering, a firm in Chicago that focuses its practice on design, construction, management services and technology. Acclaimed nationwide for his laudable efforts in engineering, Mr. Gudin previously served as a senior engineer for Commonwealth Edison in Chicago from 1994 to 2002 and was a contract engineer for TAD Energy Services in Cleveland, Ohio, from 1993 to 1994. Earlier in his career, he was a senior engineering technician, an associate engineer and an advanced engineer for First Energy Corporation in Akron, Ohio, between 1968 and 1993.
In his formative years, Mr. Gudin was inspired to enter engineering by the works of famous inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla. Since reading his biography, Mr. Gudin aspired to follow in his footsteps and also contribute to the betterment of other emerging engineers in the field by serving as a mentor. He draws upon a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University in 1979, and he has maintained affiliation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Furthermore, he is a past president of the Cleveland chapter of Toastmasters International and recently received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020. Mr. Gudin has been highlighted in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who in Finance and Business.
