Accruing five decades of eminent experience in artificial intelligence and nanotechnology, Mr. Yegnashankaran is a distinguished member of his industry holding more than 35 U.S. patents. Among his current roles, he has been the chief executive officer of DigiAnalog Technology Corp. since 2011 and the vice president of manufacturing for Senstek since 2017. A senior fellow of the National Semiconductor Corp. in 2010 and 2011, he had also served the company as the senior vice president of R&D and technology from 2001 to 2010 and vice president of product development from 1996 to 2001. Mr. Yegnashankaran had also been the director of RISC management for LSI Logic Corporation from 1988 to 1996, senior engineering manager for SRAM/DRAM, AMD from 1983 to 1987 and senior engineer at Fairchild Semiconductors from 1978 to 1983. He commenced his career as senior manager and engineer for Khandelwal Herrmann Electronics in 1967.

Mr. Yegnashankaran achieved a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Sardar Patel University and the University of Mumbai in 1967. Notably, he worked on the first PlayStation and was presented with the first console in 1993. Reflecting on his illustrious career, Mr. Yegnashankaran is most proud of his time with the LSI Corporation, as he was the first engineer hired to design semiconductors and software that accelerates storage and networking in data centers, mobile networks and client computing, including gaming systems. Likewise, he contributed to creating special retina glasses for the blind to see while at National Semiconductor and was invited by the National Science Foundation to conduct a presentation on autonomous cars in 2018. A former board member of Foveon Inc. and SRC, he hopes to continue contributing to his industry at the senior management level. To attest to his legacy, Mr. Yegnashankaran can also be found in the first edition of Who’s Who in Corporate America and the 39th through 43rd editions of Who’s Who in the West.
