With more than 15 years of experience in the manufacturing of automotive products in foreign and domestic markets, he has demonstrated deep knowledge and experience about indirect and direct hot forming process, with two patents in indirect hot forming. Prior to joining Voestalpine, Mr. Weinmeister excelled as a project control coordinator with Volkswagen AG in Zwickau, Germany from 2009 to 2013.

After obtaining a Bachelor Professional (CCI) in metal production and management from Industrie-und Handelskammer in Stuttgart, Germany, he continued his education with a Master of Engineering in industrial engineering from Ulm University in 2017. He is further certified as a MicroMaster in principles of manufacturing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019 and as a MicroMaster in launching breakthrough technologies from Harvard University in 2018. In what he considers to be a career highlight, he has acquired two patents, both in 2019, for PHS Ultraform UV Detection and a device for heating a steel blank for hardening. In coming years, his goal is to achieve a PhD and to grow the technology in the company and become a trainer for others to succeed.
