In addition to being a dedicated husband and father, Mr. Sinko has provided superior service as an audio engineer with, and owner and operator of, Salmon Peak Recording Studio since 2002, a premier recording facility in San Antonio. As an audio engineer, he helps to produce a recording or a live performance, balancing and adjusting sound sources using equalization, dynamics processing and audio effects, mixing, reproduction, and reinforcement of sound, working in the technical aspect of recording—the placing of microphones, pre-amp knobs and the setting of levels.
Mr. Sinko, also a songwriter and musician, busked in the subways of Boston for several years and decided to make music and recording his profession, noting with pride that he considers his most notable achievement working with Jimi Hendrix as an audio engineer just after graduating from high school. He attributes his success to perseverance and not giving up and says his goal in the coming years is to help musicians get their music out and be successful and recognized.
