After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in astronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in 1980, Mr. Strabala continued his education with a Master of Business Administration with specialty in management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco in 1984. He served his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1980 to 1992 as a F-15E Strike Eagle instructor fighter pilot, F-4E Phantom II instructor fighter pilot and a F-4G Wild Weasel fighter pilot. Mr. Strabala won Flight Commander of the Year by 4th Fighter Wing in 1989, two Aerial Achievement Awards, two Air Medals, an Air Force Commendation Medal and a One Oak Leaf Cluster Meritorious Service Medal.

With TRW, a global supplier of automotive systems, modules, and components in Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Strabala excelled as a chief systems and software engineer from 1992 to 1997. He has provided superior service with Raytheon since 1997, a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics, as program manager, chief engineer, systems engineer, and platform integration and software engineer. As chief engineer, he is responsible for the technical success of a program, providing engineering strategies from a strategic and tactical sense as well as give technical guidance to the team that works for him in the various engineering disciplines from system engineering, software engineer, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, to ensure the product they build at Raytheon meets the customers’ needs which are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and foreign military.

In addition, Mr. Stabala has flourished in wealth management as an independent associate with World Financial Group since 2010 and as a financial services entrepreneur since 2015 with WealthWave, both in Tucson. In these roles, he educates and guides people to improve their financial positions and protect their families.

Proficient with mathematics from a young age, Mr. Strabala avidly read the Air Force military catalog, which piqued his interest after he had earlier desired to become an astronaut. It led him to attend the Air Force Academy and graduate with a degree in astronautical engineering. Additionally, his father was a fighter pilot, which inspired him to pursue his career. Mr. Strabala would likely be retired from Raytheon in a few years, but he will still work as a registered investment advisor helping his clients become financially independent and meet their retirement and lifetime financial goals.
