Michael O’Neill, Senior Electrical Engineer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineer for dedication, achievements, and leadership in engineering administration and community work.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1972 from California Polytechnic University-San Luis Obispo, Mr. O’Neill excelled for many years as an electrical engineer, specializing in the design of medical facilities, hospitals, and clinics throughout California. He is licensed as an electrical engineer in California and Nevada and holds telecommunication and audiovisual certifications. Currently retired, he previously worked as a senior electrical engineer for Rex Moore Electrical Contractors and Engineers from 2008 to 2020, a senior technology consulting engineer with Mazzetti and Associates from 2006 to 2008, a senior electrical and telecommunications engineer with P2S Engineers from 2005 to 2006, a senior electrical and telecommunications engineer with Glumac International from 2001 to 2006 and the director of the consulting engineering group for electrical and telecommunication with Navigant Consulting from 1995 to 2000. Mr. O’Neill likewise served as the western region manager with Siemens Energy and Automation from 1985 to 1987, the vice president, operations manager and chief engineer at SAI Engineers from 1981 to 1995 and the chief electrical engineer for Rogers Engineers from 1973 to 1981.
Mr. O’Neill is an avid community supporter, counseling college graduates in San Jose, and has been president of Rotary Club, the national service organization. When he was with Rotary, he was extremely active in the continuation high school program, mentoring young students exiting high school on how to blend into a work environment. Mr. O’Neill was also active as a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
