Jane Mullowney, Environmental Inventor at Monitor Tech Lab LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in environmental engineering and authorship.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Ms. Mullowney continued her education with a master’s degree in international marketing, aerospace engineering and art from the College of Business at California State University at Long Beach in 1980. 

Ms. Mullowney found much success as vice president of sales with Westsail Parts Co. in Newport Beach, California from 1974 to 1975, as an engineer and marketer with Environmental Data Corporation in Monrovia, California from 1976 to 1978, director of marketing with Contraves Goerz Corp. in Pittsburgh from 1978 to 1984, vice president of engineering, sales and marketing with Enviropian, Inc. in Roseland, New Jersey from 1984 to 1994 and president of Shamrock Environmental Corporation from 1994 to 1997.

Thereafter, Ms. Mullowney prospered as president of Air World Environmental Inc. in North Miami Beach, Florida from 1997 to 2003. Since the latter year, she has flourished as president of Monitor Tech Lab LLC in Columbus, Ohio, a premier laboratory specializing in environmental monitoring, CH4 testing, stack gas monitoring, instruments and parts. Her professional memberships include the Acid Rain Advisory Committee, Compliance Assurance Monitoring Committee, Credible Evidence Committee, IRRC Committee, EPA Board, Air Waste Management Association and Instrument Society of America. 

In recent years, Ms. Mullowney has turned her attention to writing romance novels, using her pen name Jane B. Lee, that include the “Love and Revenge” series; “Identity,” “Red’s Revenge” and “Angel the Assassin.” Previously, she had submitted more than 50 articles and technical papers, professional and technical publications and more than 100 technical papers on EPA law and technology development.

Ms. Mullowney has always enjoyed writing, as it is one of her favorite things to do and was an avid writer throughout high school and college and is currently working on finishing another novel. In the coming years, she would like to become a more well-known author and is hoping to have her novels developed into a series for Netflix.
