After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering technology in 2000 from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mr. Ben attained certification in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He began his career as a systems integration and test engineer with Boeing Satellite Systems from 2001 to 2003 and as a as a field service installation technician for Siemens from 2005 to 2006. Mr. Ben then excelled from 2006 to 2019 as a customer engineer, field engineering technician, network systems analyst and technical engineer for Delphax Technologies Inc., National Presort Inc., AT&T Information Systems and Verizon Communications Inc. Since 2019, Mr. Ben has provided superior service as a network implementation engineer for Aventiv Technologies, where he manages scheduling for daily projects and provides support to field technicians working on equipment setup and frequently handles software and router configuration, as well as other networking devices that permit customers to communicate more effectively.
Mr. Ben attributes his success to his dedication and desire for self-improvement, his willingness to learn, as well as to his ability to work well with others. He first started in electrical and electronics but later developed a passion for networking and communication technologies. Completing his bachelor’s degree from the Southern University in 2000 has been what Mr. Ben considers to be his most notable accomplishment, as he had to struggle and fail several times due to his weak math skills. However, due to his perseverance and determination, he was able to finish the degree. His motto is “Never let others define you and always strive for excellence.”
