After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Science in French language and culture and engineering economics in 2009 from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rennes in France, Mr. Villaume subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical and automotive engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011. He provided superior service as a product/applications engineer with Spencer Engineering Company, a Division of Circor International in Walden, New York from 2011 to 2016. With Patterson-Kelley, a premier manufacturer of water heaters and boilers purchased by SPX Corporation in 2020, Mr. Villaume prospered as manager of application engineering and senior manager of commercial applications engineering and technical services from 2016 to the present, in which he leads both a team of trained systems engineering specialists as well as hands-on, customer focused technical service advisors for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry.
Mr. Villaume’s overall goal in the HVAC industry life goal is to have made an impact in the development of alternative energy and comfort solutions through the design and implementation of efficient and sustainable systems as well as education of its best practices. He attributes his success to luck and being at the right place at the right time, and in the coming years hopes to be in a more commanding role to work with changes he sees on an everyday basis, whether it be a leading role or pursuing additional research.
