For more than five decades, Mr. Dee has excelled as an electrician and an electrical engineer. His career began in his youth when he worked in theaters, since his parents were passionate about live stage theater as actors, directors and producers. As a teenager, he worked with technical directors, and when he was asked to cut a cord, there was a major arc flash, which instilled in him a serious fear of electricity. To overcome it, Mr. Dee resolved to learn everything about how electricity works and how to safely utilize all aspects of it.
In recent years, Mr. Dee has provided superior service as a trainer and design engineer with Ontility from 2009 to 2013, tech support engineer with SolarBridge Technologies from 2013 to 2014 and as photovoltaic technical trainer and senior field applications engineer with SunPower Corporation from 2016 to the present. His responsibilities include instructing and sharing knowledge on National Electrical Code, OSHA best practices, and manufacturer’s instructions compliance that lead into providing the highest level of safety. In addition, he has prospered in the design and installation of electrical and renewable energy systems, as well as improved manufacturing electrical testing equipment. In the coming years, Mr. Dee has several projects in mind that include a large solar system installation in his home that would serve as his laboratory and workshop. In addition, he is also open to doing consultancy work in his retirement.
