In preparation for his career, Mr. Jaworowicz attended Gannon University and earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. Since 2009, he has found success as a process engineer with Light Sources Inc., previously garnering experience with Voltarc Technologies and Westinghouse. In his current post, he is in charge of equipment, writing the software for automated equipment, updating each part, creating specifications, and ensuring all equipment is prepared. Mr. Jaworowicz holds a patent for a discharge lamp with automatic shut-off, which he earned in 1986.
Mr. Jaworowicz attributes his success to his wife, Francine, for supporting and inspiring him throughout his career. He also cites his ability to look at things differently than those around him. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, collecting China, and volunteering at festivals. In the coming years, Mr. Jaworowicz plans to work for as many years as he is able, and following his eventual retirement, he hopes to work with old vinyl records to preserve them for the future without digitizing them.
