In his current positions with CNC Productions Inc., Mr. Redd is the first one to come in and the last one to leave each day. He is a subcontractor, making sure everyone is there for the day and dispersing the crew to handle their individual tasks. Mr. Redd’s position involves room setup, so he spends time moving equipment off trucks and loading it into the facilities where it is needed.

Mr. Redd handles projectors, laptops, and any audiovisual equipment required for the conferences or meetings he serves. He brings in all speakers and makes sure all the setups are working for the event. With CNC Productions Inc., he sets up corporate events for companies. From 2017 to 2019, he garnered experience as a utility technician and grip with ESPN Enterprises Inc.

From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Redd completed coursework in construction management at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. While studying for his degree, his mother fell ill, so he moved back home. His brother was in the audiovisual field and helped Mr. Redd find a job. Mr. Redd attributes his success to his familial support, including his partner.

Among his career achievements, Mr. Redd considers the awards he has received to be his greatest professional highlight. In 2019, he earned a People’s Choice Award, and in 2018 he was named an MVP. Once listed in Who’s Who Among High School Students, Mr. Redd received a Rising Star Award in 2012, a Chief Emergency Response Technician award in 2013, and a Breakout King award in 2014. In the coming years, he hopes to grow his company, the Monumental Production Group, and plans to pursue five-year government contracts for audiovisual services with a small team of seven people. An accomplished mentor, Mr. Redd hopes to get younger people into his industry, as he believes it is a great field to work in and it doesn’t always require a college degree.
