Abdullah Nadi, chief executive officer and owner of Quest Investment Corp., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business development.
Having accrued five decades of experience, Mr. Nadi has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of engineering. Specializing in construction management and business development, he has served as the chief executive officer, founder and owner of Quest Investment Corp. since 2016. A Virginia-based consultancy company with focus on land development and construction in the US and Afghanistan, Quest Investment Corp. has initiated and implemented $2.6 billion USD mixed-use development projects in Kandahar and Kabul that combined residential, commercial, and institutional requirements. Prior to his current appointment, he was a managing member of Eagle Management Group LLC from 2014 to 2016. He also operated as a strategic policy advisor to the chief of the logistics branch of International Security Forces Afghanistan (ISAF) from 2010 to 2012 and as the president of AFCO International Companies from 2001 to 2007. Originally from Afghanistan, Mr. Nadi originally began his career in 1973, working as a highway design engineer for the Department of Public Works of Afghanistan until 1977.
Mr. Nadi moved to the United States in 1977, he continued his higher education in the USA and then started working with the regional traffic engineering office of Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in 1979. Over the course of his career, he has proudly contributed to such notable projects as the Ayno Mina in Kandahar, which was developed over 10,000 acres with an estimated value of $1 billion, and the Kabul Maskan Project.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Nadi pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering at Kabul Polytechnic University in 1973. He also completed coursework in highway management and construction at The George Washington University and with the Virginia Highway Department and Federal Highway Administration. As part of his dedication to his profession, he also maintains his membership with the Society of Afghan Engineers and the Afghan American Chamber of Commerce. Over the course of his fulfilling career, Mr. Nadi has largely attributed his success to his honesty and intense desire to combat corruption.
