Bolstered by 35 years of experience, Mr. Sankar is a proven expert in the fields of engineering. Specializing in information technologies, digital transformation, and technology optimization, he recently took on the position as the assistant vice president of digital transformation and innovation at Sutherland Global in 2022. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the director of digital transformation at Wipro from 2016 to 2022. Mr. Sankar is also a former member of the Council of Logistics Management.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Sankar pursued a formal education, earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in 1981 and a master’s degree in operations research at Case Western Reserve University in 1983. Adjacent to his professional duties, he also remains active as a civic-minded citizen, participating as a pastoral care chaplain and serving on the board of trustees at his local Unitarian church. Attributing much of his success to his academic background and professional experience, Mr. Sankar hopes to continue contributing to society in the coming years.
