Jeffrey L. Pintenich, President of JL Pintenich & Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in environmental engineering.

Since 2020, Mr. Pintenich has found success as the president of JL Pintenich & Associates. Prior to this post, he spent more than 20 years as the vice president of Brown and Caldwell, and from 1978 to 1988, he was a project manager, division manager, vice president, and senior vice president with AWARE Inc., now Eckenfelder Inc. Mr. Pintenich began his career as a project manager with Engineering-Science Inc. from 1974 to 1978. Alongside his primary positions, he shared his expertise as a pro bono lecturer with Vanderbilt University and was a contributor to scientific papers. From 1974 to 1982, he was an engineer officer in the United States Army Reserve.

In preparation for his career, Mr. Pintenich attended Vanderbilt University and earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1973. He continued his higher education at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1976 with a master’s degree in environmental health engineering. He is a board-certified environmental engineer with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists, a certified environmental engineer with Eminence Profession, and a registered professional engineer. Mr. Pintenich maintains membership in the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists, the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, and the Water Environment Federation. For his accomplishments, he has been recognized with an award in Hazardous Waste Management in 2011 and an Excellence Award from the Water Environment Federation in 2009.
