Gary N. Hauge, retired senior systems engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in electrical engineering.

With over six decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Hauge has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of engineering. Specializing in electrical and electronics engineer, he previously operated with Lockheed Martin Corporation for seven years as a senior systems engineer, having since retired from the position. During his time with the company, he primarily worked with aircraft systems as a test engineer at the Hurlburt Field Air Base in Florida. Additionally, Mr. Hauge worked in large systems integration in Cape Canaveral, Florida, for eight years and with the United States Department of Defense overseas for four years.

Prior to embarking on his professional career, Mr. Hauge honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1979. During this time, he held a number of key roles, including as a radio operator and flight director. Much of Mr. Hauge’s time in the Air Force was spent abroad, in such locations as the Philippines, England and South Korea. In honor of his dedicated service, he was three Commendation Medals.

As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Hauge pursued a higher education. Over the course of his collegiate career, he completed coursework in electrical, electronics and communications engineering at the University of Phoenix, the University of Maryland and the Community College of the Air Force. Though he holds no formal degree, Mr. Hauge has maintained his second class radio communications officer’s license since 1956.

Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Hauge also remains active as a civic-minded citizen, regularly volunteering with and donating supplies to radio networks in the state of Florida. To further commemorate his accomplishments in the field, he was also previously recognized as an award recipient by the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT). Attributing much of his success to his open-minded attitude and fearlessness in the face of new challenges, he is most notably proud of his extensive 20 years of work with the Harris Corporation. Though he is retired from full-time work, Mr. Hauge hopes to continue finding working opportunities in his field in Cape Canaveral, Florida, in the coming years.
