Specializing in electronics engineering, he has operated as a field engineer for FieldCore, a General Electric company, since 2016. Additionally, since 2001, he has served as a lead IC&E at GDF SUEZ Energy International. Mr. Rutherford is regularly commissioned by power plants throughout the United States to oversee various procedures and provide assistance as needed. He originally began his career in 1989, working as an instruments and controls technician for Elk Roofing LLC until 2001.

As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Rutherford pursued a formal education, earning an associate’s degree in electronics engineering at the ITT Technical Institute in Arlington, Texas, in 1990. Furthermore, he holds several certifications pertinent to his profession, having completed numerous courses in technical analysis and in the use of different machinery, such as drive systems and gas turbine auxiliaries and subsystems. Adjacent to his primary duties, he has also served as a volunteer firefighter for 40 years. Attributing much of his success to his dedication and reliability, Mr. Rutherford hopes to rise to the position of resource manager in the coming years.
