During this time, he was likewise active with LINEX MISR Co. as the chairman from 2000 to 2014 and the technical director from 2007 to 2012. Previously appointed as the president of Advanced American Technology Corp. from 1999 to 2007, he had notably served as a staff electro-mechanical engineer for GTE Automatic Electric Laboratory from 1970 to 1975, a senior engineering specialist for Sargent & Lundy from 1979 to 1984, a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering from 1978 to 1985, the chief executive officer of Export Co., Travel & Tours Cp. and Shipping Co. between 1984 and 1999, and the chairman of Worldwide Business Service Inc. from 1984 to 2000. Dr. Elgindy began his career as an aeronautical design engineer for a fighter aircraft prototype fuselage and supervisor for the Standard Officer for Aircraft Accessories in Egypt between 1965 and 1970.

Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Elgindy pursued an education at Cair University, from which he graduated from the Aeronautical Engineering School with a Bachelor of Applied Science in 1965. He concluded his studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology, earning a Master of Science in 1979 and a Doctor of Philosophy in mechanical and aerospace engineering in 1980. Attributing his success to his stellar education, professionalism and religion, he is incredibly proud to have founded the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago in 1992, which helped to unite the Egyptian community, Muslims and Christians. Looking toward the future, Dr. Elgindy hopes to continue improving the lives of others as well as people’s outlook on the years to come.
