With more than 40 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Davis has excelled as a system engineer for Frontier Innovations Corp. since 2018 and the owner and chief technologist for Limitless Dimensions LLC since 2017. During this time, he was additionally active as a partner and chief technology officer for Aquarian Devices between 2017 and 2020. Prior to these positions, Mr. Davis served as a research engineer for the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics from 2015 to 2017.
Mr. Davis previously found success as a principal systems engineer for Ball Corporation between 2000 and 2015. Moreover, he worked as a staff engineer for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company from 1996 to 2004 and a senior design engineer for EC&G Management Systems Incorporated from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Davis began his career with the General Dynamics Corporation as a senior design engineer from 1980 to 1993.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Davis pursued an education at San Diego State University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1980. Beyond his primary responsibilities, he has been likewise affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) over the years. As a testament to his stellar endeavors, Mr. Davis was presented with a System Engineering Achievement Award from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Mr. Davis has attributed his success to his luck, his gracious mentors and peers, and his passion for educating others about his areas of expertise. Initially drawn to botany, chemistry, genetics, and nuclear physics, he was pursuing a master’s degree in engineering when General Dynamics Corporation sent him to New York to assist on a program for the U.S. Navy, which caused him to be expelled but enabled him to learn under some of the most intelligent people in his field. Among the many highlights of his career, he is proud to have helped work on the telecommunications team on the Kepler space telescope. Looking toward the future, Mr. Davis hopes to continue upgrading instruments and aid in the removal of debris in space while helping to make the country as safe as possible.
