Mr. Fardon considers his most notable career achievement his sponsored apprenticeship with Holroyd. He was one of 22 men selected to complete a year of classes on machines and theoretical engineering at Rockdale College. Among his professional experience, Mr. Fardon holds particular expertise in mechanical engineering and building gears.
Mr. Fardon attributes his success to his full year of training from Holroyd in England. He also credits joining his professional trade union and the influence of his father, who worked as a maintenance engineer in a cotton mill. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening and repairing bicycles.
