With over a decade of experience to his credit, Dr. Samsul is a rising expert in the engineering industry. Specializing in electrical and radiofrequency engineering, he has served as an RF engineer at HX5 LLC since 2022. Prior to his current appointment, he excelled as an online tutor for The Princeton Review between 2020 and 2022 and as a radio frequency engineer for Aerotek in 2021. Ever committed to his profession, he remains active as a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Dr. Samsul originally began his career in 2009 in his native home in Indonesia, interning at the Universitas Pelita Harapan. As part of his scholarly efforts, he has published two papers regarding laser surface authentication.
As a student of the Universitas Pelita Harapan, Dr. Samsul earned a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical and electronics engineering in 2010. He subsequently immigrated to the United States and attended Duke University, where he achieved a Master of Science in 2013 and a PhD in 2017, both in electrical in computer engineering. During his time at the institution, he also operated in several key research assistant and associate roles between 2011 and 2020. In addition to his academic credentials, he also holds several pertinent certifications in power measurement, oscilloscope probing and microwave signal analysis. Attributing his professional and academic success to his persistence, Dr. Samsul is proud to have been chosen for the Student Paper of the Year during his undergraduate career.
