Since 2000, Mr. Cunningham has excelled as the president of Sean Cunningham, PE, PC. As a professional engineer with more than 30 years of experience to his credit, he worked as an engineer with Mason Industries Inc. from 1987 to 2020. He began his career in 1991, serving as a chief engineer with Seismic Design until 1995. For his accomplishments, Mr. Cunningham received an award for 10 Years of Excellence from Mason Industries in 2005. To keep abreast of his career, he is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of New York.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Cunningham attended Nassau Community College, graduating with an associate degree in engineering science in 1985. In 1987, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Alongside his formal degrees, Mr. Cunningham is eminently qualified and holds his Professional Engineer License in numerous states, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Texas and Alaska. He attributes his success to his persistence, and in the coming years, he hopes to grow his business.
