Vincent Pertoso, an independent consultant in the field of software quality assurance engineering, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of software quality assurance management.
With several decades of experience to his credit in the fields of information technology (IT) and software quality assurance (SQA), Mr. Pertoso has leveraged his extensive technical and project management expertise toward his role as an independent consultant on behalf of various organizations, including at Inmar Intelligence, Eversource Energy, Global Business Solutions, the Ocean Systems Engineering Corporation, Pitney Bowes Inc. and IBM, among many others. Deeply familiar with every aspect of the SQA process, he is most proud of such accomplishments as his work at Ocean Systems, where he was instrumental in the development of a vertical launching system. Likewise, Mr. Pertoso was lauded by the United States Department of Defense for the positive impact he exerted on the cause of national security.
A veteran of the Vietnam Era, Mr. Pertoso first became involved in the engineering profession after excelling at various mechanical and electrical aptitude tests. When given the choice of what to specialize in, he ultimately chose to become an electrical engineer. In accounting for his subsequent success, he largely credits his natural ability as an autodidact, as well as his talent for observation, which has greatly enhanced his versatility in the field. Over the course of his career, Mr. Pertoso has strived to live by the tenets of his personal motto; “In the information age, remaining ignorant is a willful act.”
