Mr. Puckett is an accomplished professional engineer with more than 40 years of experience. Since 2010, he has excelled as a senior principal engineer with Northrop Grumman. He began working for the esteemed aerospace and defense company in 1985 as a field engineer, after which he was a project manager, field engineer and senior field engineer. Mr. Puckett began his career in 1979 as a design engineer with the Ford Motor Company, after which he garnered experience as a field engineer with Westinghouse. In 1975, he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in history. From 1975 to 1978, he served in the U.S. Navy.

In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Puckett received an Appreciation Award from the Southeastern Connecticut AIDS Project in 1996. In 1989, he earned a Westinghouse Marine Division Quality Achievement Award, and in 2014, he received an Out and Equal Workplace Associates Trailblazer Award. Mr. Puckett’s achievements were additionally recognized in multiple volumes of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in the West, and Who’s Who in the World. In 2023, he was featured by the Naval Academy Alumni Association. In his spare time, Mr. Puckette enjoys playing bridge, walking, reading, volunteering, and collecting art and antiques.
