Recruited as the lead embedded software engineer for Johnson Controls International from 2010 to 2014, he previously served in a number of positions for the Visteon Corporation between 2001 and 2010, including as a product design engineer, an applications electrical engineer for digital radio, a lead engineer and a digital signal processing firmware engineer. Mr. Panainte began his career as an electrical engineer for REMAR SA-RO in Romania from 1991 to 2001.

To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Panainte pursued an education at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania, from which he earned an engineer’s degree in computer science in 2001. He concluded his studies at the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2009, graduating with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. As a testament to his stellar accomplishments in the field, he has acquired multiple patents in recent years, including “Multi-pass vehicle voice recognition systems and methods” in 2017, “Dynamically adjusting a voice recognition system” in 2018 and “Systems and methods for virtual assistant routing” in 2021. Moreover, Mr. Panainte is proud to have authored a project book to help fellow engineers, received various recognitions for his contributions to his companies’ respective intellectual property portfolios, and was selected for the Green Card lottery in Romania after reinventing himself.
