Sara M. Paige, Engineer of Fire at City of Oakland Fire Department, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in fire control.
With years of experience to her credit, Ms. Paige has excelled as an engineer of fire with the City of Oakland Fire Department in California since 2018. Prior to this position, she was active as a firefighter with the aforementioned fire department from 2014 to 2018. She previously began her career with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), part of the California Natural Resources Agency. Beyond her primary responsibilities within the field, Ms. Paige has been affiliated with the International Association of Fire Fighters, the California Professional Firefighters, and Women in Aviation International.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Paige pursued an education at the University of California Davis, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2004. She concluded her studies at Grand Canyon University in 2006, graduating with a Master of Science in leadership disaster preparedness crisis management. Attributing her success to her perseverance and dedication, he is incredibly proud of her consistent place in multiple communities as a fire service member as well as the opportunity to educate citizens on taking responsibility and preparedness. In the coming years, Ms. Paige hopes to advance to an administrative position in her career.
