Leveraging more than 35 years of experience in his chosen profession, Mr. Hanna has distinguished himself through his work as the principal engineer at ACMM LLC. Certified by the International Code Council as a building official and building plan check engineer, he bears a wealth of expertise in civil engineering, building safety, building code compliance, public works construction, and capital improvement projects. Extensively qualified in his field, Mr. Hanna has been designated as a registered professional engineer in the states of Colorado, Texas, California, and Arizona, and maintains his affiliation with the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Public Works Association.
Well-regarded for his work in the public sector, Mr. Hanna previously served as a chief building official and the director of public works engineering at the City of Irwindale, California from 2018 to 2023, where he previously availed himself as a civil engineer since 2013. Additionally, he worked as a civil engineer for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works between 2001 and 2018. Prior to this period, Mr. Hanna earned distinction at Rebar Engineering Inc., having begun his career as a field engineer in 1987.
From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Hanna also maintained involvement as a volunteer board member at the St. Shenouda the Archimandrite Coptic Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and memory of Christian Egypt. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, he has also been a member of the Coptic Orphans, an international organization that seeks to break the cycle of poverty that affects many Copts, and a deacon at the St. Peter and St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church in Santa Monica, California.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Zagaziz University in 1987, Mr. Hanna went on to study Coptic Church history at the Institute of Coptic Studies, where he graduated with a master’s degree in 1991. Several years later, he is proud to have established a successful career in the United States after his immigration. Through hard work and dedication, he built a prosperous professional portfolio and achieved his goals. Looking toward the future, Mr. Hanna aspires to expand the scope of his business and achieve financial stability for his loved ones.
