Cesar A. Morales, PhD, an R&D engineer at the Intel Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of engineering.
Motivated by the ideal that professional success would be impossible without dedication to one’s family and society, Dr. Morales has distinguished himself as a research and development engineer at the Intel Corporation since 2018. Leveraging a wealth of expertise in radiofrequency (RF) and microwave research, he leads a team of engineers in devising effective solutions for a diverse array of challenges, as well as attending to the needs of upper management. Prior to his current role, Dr. Morales served in various engineering roles at RF Micro Devices, which later merged to become part of Qorvo, where he remained active as a senior RF design engineer until 2018. Outside of his primary professional endeavors, he has also reviewed microwave theories and techniques on behalf of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Dr. Morales initially studied electronics and communications engineering at the University of the North in his native Colombia, from which he received a Bachelor of Science in 2004. Following this accomplishment, he continued his education at the University of South Florida (USF), earning a Master of Science in electrical engineering in 2008 and a Doctor of Philosophy in 2011. During his time at USF, he was notably lauded with such accolades as “Best Conference Paper” and “Best Research Work,” recognizing his inimitable contributions to RF applications research. Presently, much of his work and design skill has proven invaluable to the Intel Corporation’s internal methodologies and procedures in cell phone manufacturing. Looking toward the future, Dr. Morales aspires to become recognized as one of the Intel Corporation’s foremost technical leaders, and to continue supporting the goals of his wife, who is also an engineer at Intel.
