Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Ramirez pursued an education at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana of Colombia where he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 2000. He continued his academic efforts at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, graduating with a Master of Science in electrical engineering in 2004. He holds a certification as a professional engineer from the Professional Engineers Ontario.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Ramirez has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada and Habitat for Humanity. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canada.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Ramirez has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with an award from the 3M Company for the remarkable achievement of enhancing the output of their gas filter manufacturing plant by more than 30 percent. As an elite tennis player, he competed in three national competitions while participating in an adult tennis league in New Jersey.
Mr. Ramirez’s success in the manufacturing industry sprang from his adaptability and resilience, qualities he cultivated through living with his family in different countries and overcoming challenging economic circumstances, particularly during his immigration to the United States. He values his fearlessness when it comes to acquiring new knowledge and embracing diverse cultures. In the immediate future, he plans to become a consultant. His goal is to help companies by implementing different automation strategies to take their businesses to the next level.
