Maxim S. Turovtsev, MEng, Advanced Mechanical Engineer at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP), has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mechanical engineering.

Mr. Turovtsev has had a distinguished career in engineering beginning in 2008, where he worked as a merchant marine officer for Columbia Shipmanagement until 2010. Between 2011 and 2015, he served in the US Navy as a petty officer second class and has continued his service in the United States Naval Reserve since 2015. He subsequently contributed his expertise to Carver Companies as a marine engineer in 2015. At Huntington Ingalls Industries, Incorporated, he was recruited as a mechanical and nuclear engineer between 2017 and 2022. He currently acts as an advanced mechanical engineer for the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP), a position in which he has thrived since 2022.

Adept at working under pressure, Mr. Turovstev utilized his steady composure to pursue an education, earning a Bachelor of Engineering in maritime studies from the Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University in 2009. In 2017, he obtained a Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, followed by a certificate in welding and metal fabrication from the Modern Welding School in 2018. When he is not working, he dedicates his time and attention to traveling with his family, going to concerts, and reading.
