Mr. Steffler has had a distinguished career, beginning in 2006 as an electronic technician at JT3, and in 2007, he started as an energy systems instrumentation and controls instructor at Idaho State University until 2011. He then transferred to the Idaho National Laboratory as a nuclear operator between 2010 and 2011. In 2011, he served as a flow measurement instrumentation technician for CH2M HILL. Mr. Steffler worked as an automation engineer for Control System Technology between 2011 and 2013. He currently contributes his expertise as a project manager and automation and controls engineer for Automation Werx, LLC, where he has thrived since 2013. He participates as a member of the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and the International Society of Automation and engages in charitable endeavors that support the community work of his church.
Mr. Steffler earned an Associate of Applied Science in energy systems instrumentation and controls engineering technology in 2008, and he obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology in 2010, both from Idaho State University. He also holds numerous certifications from Rockwell Automation, including PlantPAx System Certified Integrator, Control Discipline System Certified Integrator, Visualization System Certified Integrator, and Low Voltage Drives System Certified Integrator. When he is not working, he dedicates his time and attention to hunting, fishing, hiking, motorcycle riding, and four-wheeling.
