With 18 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Seifert has excelled as technical director of advanced manufacturing and facilities engineering at Youngstown State University’s Excellence Training Center in Kohli Hall since 2023. She began her career as a mechanical draftsperson and engineering assistant at Hunt Valve Company from 2005 to 2006. She established herself as a draftsperson at Liberty Technologies from 2008 to 2009 and at Lawless Industries from 2009 to 2010. She garnered a stellar reputation as an engineering intern at Picatinny Arsenal in 2010.

Ms. Seifert continued her career as an engineering contractor at Brilex Industries, Inc. from 2011 to 2012. At Youngstown State University, she contributed as a graduate assistant from 2012 to 2013 and a ballistic research assistant from 2011 to 2014. She was appointed to the role of production coordinator at Fireline Corporation from 2013 to 2022 and found additional success as a process engineer at PTC Alliance from 2022 to 2023.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Seifert pursued an education at Youngstown State University where she earned an associate in science and arts in mechanical engineering technology and drafting and design technology in 2009 and a master’s degree in industrial engineering in 2012. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the industrial advisory board at Youngstown State University.

Throughout her career, Ms. Seifert has attributed her success to the valuable guidance and support of her mentors. One such mentor was Brian Vuksanovich, a professor who provided her with an opportunity to work with the Department of Defense. In the immediate future, her goal is to continue advancing in the field of manufacturing.
