Mr. Bezanilla is an accomplished engineer and automotive industry professional with more than 25 years of experience to his credit. Since 2022, he has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of 3Sixty Degrees LLC, a research and development company committed to developing new technologies and intellectual property with positive social impact in order to save lives, prevent car accidents, enhance automotive safety, and improve space exploration.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Bezanilla garnered experience as the director of operations for Rhino Pro Protective Linings from 2019 to 2022 located in Houston, Tx improving internal processes and managing to save unexpected costs for the company. He also held the position of senior manager of service engineering and warranties with General Motors for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean from 2018 to 2019 leading a team specialized in solving field technical problems, quality and process improvement and warranty costs, before which he garnered experience as aftersales regional manager with the same company in Mexico City, Mexico, from 2014 to 2018 focused on process improvement in the General Motors dealer network. Mr. Bezanilla began his career as a service consultant selling wheels, tires, and car accessories in 1996, later working for Porsche – Audi car dealership from 2000 to 2002 and later in Yamaha Motor from 2005 to 2007 as a Field Engineer releasing new vehicles to the market and aligning core quality with factories across the world.
In preparation for his accomplished career, Mr. Bezanilla graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2004 to later, in 2010, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In addition, he is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt by the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores Monterrey in 2009 for having completed several successful improvement projects. Alongside his formal degrees, Mr. Bezanilla is eminently qualified, holding numerous professional credentials. He became an SAE Associate through SAE International in 2002, earned an OpEx Master Certificate from General Motors in 2018 awarded by the President of the company for having managed to improve a main indicator of the company, and received a Cultural Transformation Certificate from the Disney Institute in 2014 after taking the complete training in Orlando, Fl. to manage organizational changes.
Mr. Bezanilla is proud to have created multiple patents and intellectual property with purpose through his development, design, prototyping, and simulation work at 3Sixty Degrees. In 2023, he was honored by the United States Government by receiving a Permanent Residency for his professional achievements, his knowledge of the applied sciences, as well as the implementation of a project related to the development of new technology and process improvement with Six Sigma tools. This same year, his company was selected by the Technology Commercialization Center of the Small Business Association to participate in the 2024 cohort with the objective of preparing the bases to develop a new technology project with a positive social impact in the automotive and aerospace industries. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, riding his motorcycle, off-roading, meditating and spending time in nature. His vision is to create a world that works in harmony, collaboration, and fraternity, managing to identify opportunities that can be improved, working as a team with people with the same values and principles.
