His commenced his career as a senior software engineer at Grant Tensor Geophysical Corporation from 1991 to 1993. Following this, he assumed positions of increasing responsibility, serving as technical director at Mississippi State University from 1993 to 1997, and as technical lead at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory from 1997 to 1999.
Mr. Matiyevsky transitioned to the private sector after serving as vice president of technology at Axios Data Analysis Systems Corporation from 1999 to 2001. Subsequently, in 2001, he ventured into entrepreneurship, founding GeoFusion, Inc. As founder and vice president until 2020, he significantly contributed to the company’s growth and success. Following this, he ascended to the esteemed position of chief executive officer at GeoFusion, Inc., where he has demonstrated exceptional leadership since 2020.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Matiyevsky takes pride in developing his interactive global map platform, GeoPlayer Flight. Looking ahead, Mr. Matiyevsky aims to advance his technologies onto the web and gather more data for ongoing projects.
