He began his career as a CDL delivery driver at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. from 2006 to 2008. He worked as a shift leader at C.R. Onsrud from 2008 to 2016 before transitioning to the role of Computer-Aided Design draftsman at BETCO Inc. from 2016 to 2022. He has been the owner of SunnDesign LLC since 2018.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Perry pursued an education at Wilkes Community College, where he earned an associate of applied science in automation engineer technology in 2006. He is certified as a master mason. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He found success as an author since 2015, including the psychological thriller novel “Death’s Notebook” published by CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform in 2017.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Perry remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was named to the Dean’s List at Wilkes Community College. He attributes his success to his drive, his tireless commitment to his goals, and the support of his wife.
Mr. Perry considers his most notable achievement securing the role of director of engineering at ProSteel Buildings LLC. He finds the work highly fulfilling and appreciates the professionals he works with and oversees. For him, seeing the final results of his efforts and the knowledge that his hard work is being put to use is extremely rewarding. In the immediate future, he intends to obtain his professional engineering and contractor’s licenses in North Carolina and establish his own engineering firm. Furthermore, he is developing a sequel to “Death’s Notebook” as well as working to complete several stories he has yet to publish.
