With nearly 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Dupont has excelled as a senior mechanical engineer with SLB since 2012. In this position, he designs, tests and troubleshoots tools utilized in oil and gas reservoirs, handling mechanical drawing, drafting, VnV testing, and coil testing for oil field intervention tools. Prior to his present post, he was active with SLB as a mechanical engineer between 2006 and 2012. Inspired by his father’s mechanical drawings during his youth, Mr. Dupont began his career as a mechanical engineering intern with Neurosoft in 2005.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Dupont pursued an education at The École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques, also known as Supmicrotech-ENSMM, from which he graduated with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2006. Among the many highlights of his career, he fondly recalls his involvement in the successful launch of the Ora tool, which received overwhelmingly positive customer feedback and earned SLB’s CEO Award in 2021. Attributing his success to his professionalism and resiliency, his stellar efforts have been further recognized with an additional CEO Award from SLB in 2022. Harboring a commitment to expanding, refining and cultivating a technical skill set that ensures his value within his field for decades to come, Mr. Dupont hopes to accompany change in the old field services in order to offer new services and establish an understanding of how they can contribute to the global energy market.
