Earlier in his career, he began as a structural engineer at DLR Group from 1994 to 1998, gradually advancing to roles of greater responsibility, including project manager and senior structural engineer.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Muthiah pursued a rigorous education, earning a master’s degree in managerial finance from Harvard University in 2015 and a Master of Science in engineering from Arizona State University in 1993. Following these accomplishments, he obtained certifications in reliability engineering, project management, and green building. Beyond his primary roles, he has contributed extensively to various projects, including gas turbine parts risk models and low-cost public housing initiatives.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Muthiah remains actively involved in organizations such as the Harvard Alumni and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, reflecting his commitment to continued learning and community engagement. Over the course of his career, he has been recognized for his outstanding contributions, receiving awards such as the Above and Beyond Bronze Medal from General Electric in 2015 and certification as a reliability engineer by the American Society for Quality in 2014.
